A Brief History of BNR Irrigation Services, Inc.
BNR Irrigation Services, Inc. is owned and operated by Randy Henderson and Brandon Gothmann. Randy has been in this business since 1982, and incorporated in 1987. Brandon joined BNR Irrigation in 1993 as an employee, and bought into it as a partner in March of 1997.
At its inception, BNR Irrigation Services, Inc. offered both lawn care and irrigation services, but as the business grew, lawn care was removed from our offerings so that we could focus on top-quality irrigation installation, repair and maintenance. Our goal has always been to provide the customer with the highest level of service and quality products that are available in the irrigation industry.
From the beginning, BNR Irrigation has installed Toro irrigation products, because we found them to be of the best quality and backed by outstanding warranty. We have been awarded Toro’s “Excellence in Irrigation” annual award numerous times, and in 2003 were named “Contractor of the Year” for the entire state of Minnesota .
More recently, we received an exclusive “by-invitation-only” opportunity to join Toro’s and MTI Distributing’s new “Professional Toro Irrigation Contractor” program. Out of hundreds of contractors in MTI’s sales area, which includes the state of Minnesota , the eastern part of North Dakota and the western part of Wisconsin , we were one of only 10 invited to participate in this program, and one of only 150 invited worldwide.
This program includes exclusive first opportunity to test, evaluate and install new Toro irrigation products, plus continuing education for our technicians in new products and new techniques for the industry, and seminars on business techniques to grow our business successfully, so that we may better serve you. It is Toro’s way to help us build our business, not with brief “specials” to gain our custom, but for the long-term.
BNR Irrigation Services, Inc. is a licensed low-voltage electrical contractor, as now required by the State of Minnesota . This means our technicians attend continuing education classes for electrical wiring that irrigation installation entails.
